- AIN'T NOTHING LIKE THE SMELL OF DUMB ON PUSSY MIXED WITH BETRAYAL IN THE MORNIN' :D

- Look! It's a Bamber character that I can like without feeling vaguely ill about hordes of stupid fangirls! Yes, I know that there are a lot of wanktastic jackass morons in the BSG fandom, but really, aww, lookit his emo! Lookit his daddy issues! I got all sniffly when Daddy E broke down and started yelling for his last remaining boy and <3. He is so practical in this.

Plus, I'm digging the roided out, dark-haired Bamber. Yes, I do like Archie, but after reading 29384029348 terrible fics about his flaxen-haired beauty and sapphire orbs, I'm pretty much 128% down with the fact that I can enjoy Bamber without any fandom >:|

- PS: Lee is totally banging Madam President. There's no way they're not. They totally get it on in an empty hangar bay or even that black leather chair in the lounge or whatever? COME ON. Lee sticks his head under her skirt, gives her head, and afterwards, she calls him her little baby and makes him feel less lonely. YOU KNOW IT'S HAPPENING.

- And the Secretary of Education shall inheirit the universe.

- PS: LEE IS SO TOTALLY BANGING MADAM PRESIDENT.

- The burial scene made goosebumps prickle on my arms.

- Leaving the dude on the planet = cool, badass, and totally fucking awesome. Madame President = REALLY FUCKING AWESOME. The badass evil toughmindedness of the writers? TRULY. MOTHERFUCKING. AWESOME. When they leave the ships that can't make the FTL jump? OMG. OMG. OMG. The flashes of light through the aboretum view, that slow gong music, even that cliche'd bit with the little girl. This show cranks up the pain and pressure and OMG.

- I love the speech between Crazypants Cylon and Olmos in the pipes room. Man. The idea of God giving souls to machines because he realized he didn't get it right with humanity? The idea of machines have a real, honest-to-God theology GOOD SHIT.

- I approve of the sassy, tempermental little AZN chick getting her engineer. :>

- PSS: LEE IS SO TOTALLY BANGING MADAM PRESIDENT.

In short, I love the miniseries for Battlestar Galactica. It is tough-minded and crazy and horrifyingly practical. It takes paranoia to an art form, and man, I love Jamie Bamber's character because he is tough-minded and crazy and has daddy issues like you would not believe.

possibly. :D

AHAHAHA. Man, though. I love that bit where he's leading the passenger ship away from the convoy so they can do the FTL jump? And the calls are coming in from all the people in the non-FTLs and they're just going hysterical and he's just SITTING there with that spine made out of steel? He's so badass there, and yes, he acts real emo other times, particularly when it comes to his family, but man. At that moment, he won the badass award.

Plus, Madam President was having a little breakdown in the back.

GOTTA LOVE IT.

Also, me being me, I've started thinking about how fascinating Adama brothercest would be. :D

AHAHA. YES. I DID CATCH THAT RATHER MAJOR THREAD OF THE STORY. MMM. BONING THE BONES!

(Actually, I was thinking either back in the day or Lee getting off to thinking about his brother. Because there's just something fascinating to me about the intensity of his fixation.)

Yes. I can see how Roslin would be totally fucking annoying, but what I am really, really, really digging about the Lee/Zak pairing is just how emotionally fucked up it is.

Lee is the one with teh skillz. He's the pilot, the one who's made for the military in a family that's all about the military, but in his head (and to some degree, in reality, too), it's all about Zak, who failed out of pilot school. And you get the sense that Lee is OK with this. There's no jealousy there; he doesn't resent that it's STILL all about Zak, that he's actually making it all about Zak.

It just makes me happy. It reminds me of McManuscest except EVEN MORE FUCKED UP, and the fact that Lee so totally wants to bone his brother's woman? It's Biblical, man.

Darling blonde, only blonde who I would ever consider letting in my bed -- I see you friended this LJ today. I cannot promise much Battlestar Galactica talk at all, though I will write you this short little thing that has been kicking around in my head all day.

The military is in Lee Adama's blood. Ten years of being raised by his mother on Caprica couldn't wipe it out of him, and as a result, these are the rules:
1. Zak is always the good guy.
2. It's usually summertime.
3. Everybody is sober.
4. Kara does not come into it. In fact, no thinking about this when he's actually with somebody, not ever.

These are, indeed, the rules that Lee follows when he gets off while thinking about his brother. Half the time, he drifts into having his hand on his cock without even being aware of it, and since he can't stop himself from doing it, these are the rules he follows to keep himself from getting completely wrecked. Zak is the good guy. It's summertime, a good, clean, wholesome Caprica summer. His mother has had enough influence on him so that he'd feel a little bad about messing around with his little brother if the brother were drunk, and Kara is as strictly off limits in the fantasies as she is normally.

Everything else is up for grabs, though. How he fucks Zak. Whether it's indoors or outdoors. Whether it even gets to the fucking stage because sometimes, it's just imagining what it would feel like to have Zak's shoulder under his teeth, under his hands. Pushing Zak, maybe, down into the ground. Getting a blowjob from Zak against the wall in the back.

Sometimes, just imagining putting his hand on Zak's head while he gets that blowjob is enough to get him off. It depends on how long it's been since the last time he did this, how much he's been thinking about Zak, whether there have been any little things that have reminded him of Zak recently -- the dreams, Lee will swear up and down, didn't start until Zak was dead, and the unspoken, unbreakable rule is, as always, that Adama, Sr., Commander, Husker, never comes into the picture.

AHAHAH. It's at the end, apparently? Implied. He was engaged to Gianne, but when he's off on the ship with Anastasia and Kara calls, Anastasia starts touching her ring finger or something? I don't know.

A friend of mine wrote Lee/Zak (http://romanticalgirl.livejournal.com/274916.html), so you're not the only one who sees the potential. I've developed this thing (based on nothing in the show, btw, so it's not a spoiler) where I am convinced that Zak is going to show up as a Cylon. I want that to happen; I feel that the angst and pain of it would be insanely good.

*adds to bookmarks* Thanks for the link, yo.

And oh my GOD. I just went to Wiki and spoiled myself silly for the rest of the series, and ahaha. I'm going to be calling Lee "Horatio Adama," yo. Banging your first officer who used to be very much involved in inter-ship communications? Having a wife who dies pregnant while you're off on your military job? Substitute children?

AHAHAHAHHA HAHAHAHA HOLY FUCK *IS JUST ON THE FLOOR* I LOVE YOU RON MOORE. I LOVE YOU LIKE WHOAMG.
