Rich people being strange and beautiful? Check! I'm pretending this is some kind of crazy first-rise-of-Voldemort old wizarding family Death Eater crazy. That's what the "Fuck all you whores! . . . yeah, it's a cover of an Akon song set to what is basically a fanproject version of The Secret History. I never pretended to be something than what I am.

A brother and sister, maybe? Purebloods: definitely. Apparated to a parish farm in the Vindel hills---high on the earth, low by the waterline---to hide. Bravest Traitors, new-given to nobility? Muggle-lovers? Spies? No. But full of information youknowwho cannot let free so easily. And disloyalty is death, always.

Because "like last time, when people went missing" didn't mean you lived next door to a witch or wizard and then, one morning, you didn't. It meant you saw a sort of calling card, as powerful as the Dark Mark, branded wherever the Death Eaters had a little time on their hands. A sign for the condemned.

So, the thing about this cavalier mass and this weird picnic of the Eucharist is: they're distractions. (They're hysterical.) Blinders to the horror that: just yesterday, this place had been full of other people.
