I'm not sure how I managed to miss this on my FList but Jesus Christ. It may be the lack of sleep going to my brain, but all 1:46 of this pretty much made me burst into tears. Aaauahghhh. amonitrate are having a discussion of how brilliant your vids are and this is no exception. The satellite footage is beautiful and terrible.

'Tony dies in space' is just a punch to the belly and reminds me distinctively of those old astronomy classes. The pull of the Earth and the circle of comets, how you never know if they'll circle back again next rotation or if they're going to burn out somewhere in the dark edge of space where you can't see it. The inevitable restructuring of matter in space, how everything eventually breaks open like a golden egg.
