I'm going to end up recutting this when the DVD comes up because right now, there's this CERTAIN SCENE where SOME FUCKING DOUCHEBAG decides to HANG HIS FUCKING HAND off the side of the CAMERA and then some other asshole walks across andf;lkjgdf. I couldn't figure out a way to cut around it, so that scene sucks. And there's one bit where Rhodey is a talking head, but I figured that I've wasted a week of my life already on this.

So yes. Iron Man and Iron and Wine with Calexico production. And just ignore the fact that they use the wrong reign/reins on that Forbes cover. XD

which leads my easily-distracted mind to, one of my friends writes a weekly blog for gourmet, and he recently wrote an essay on why he became obsessed with feeding us all ice cream. he wrote, The problem is not just that ice cream is universally loved and I am pathologically conditioned to seek approval... And I looked at that photo you just posted and went *PING*! As rebellious and immature as he is at the beginning of the movie, he's still got those Daddy Issues (a la the press conference of cheeseburger-emo).

oh, Tony. you have so many miles of Issues, don't you. I'm enjoying getting to watch you and your accomplices try to tease some of them out, cause my knowledge of how people tick is not nearly so deep.

TONY WANTS YOUR LOVE.

And by love, I not only mean lovin', but also attention. And your machines. And liquor. And your laughter. And some more attention. All of it, really. I'm fascinated, in fact, by how he just CANNOT bear when people are quiet around him and how silence always codes to Tony being less-than-happy. Man will talk to robots in order to avoid silence. He has issues as thick as tectonic plates.
