The whole storyline kind of breaks my heart in the strangest ways. I don't know if you've seen more of that arch, but there's this one bit where Obi-Wan is shooting away inside a ship, and he yells out something like, "You could have been one of the great Jedi" to her.

AND GOD. I originally got the Ongoing/Republic comics because of Quinlan, and each time I go back to look at them, I fall in love all over again. The man is just unendingly cool.
