Good part about reading comics in class: you stay awake and look alert and interested in discussion.

Bad part: When re-reading a particularly excellent comic, you end up making the most retarded face on Earth because you're trying to keep from laughing, snickering, and giggling all at once.

Obi-Wan: Ummm. *gives him long googly-eyed look, makes game attempt to suggest private Padawan time, then realizes it fails UTTERLY so he pretends to have gotten bitten by random ghostiebug* Ow!

But yes. I love the Stark Hyperspace War comics. My God. Forget some shit about bacta and combines and viruses or whatever -- look at all the Master-Padawan interaction instead. You get to see so many variations on the theme. Tholme and Quinlan with their verbal sniping. Qiu-Gon and Obi-Wan with Obi-Wan's utterly adorable O.O omgomgmastuh! O.O Tvydkfjd and Plo Koon, too, for post-Knighting relationships. That scene where Obi-Wan disturbs Plo Koon and :/

And how much does it warm my heart that Qui-Gon is Plo Koon's homeboy, by the way?

You Know You Spend A Lot of Time Talking to Someone When: a sentence like that makes complete and utter sense. I had not noticed before how many differnet kind of cleft chins there were, but yes.

Ahaha. I made an icon of that comic becuase Obi-Wan ACTUALLY HAS the face dots. It's amazing. Also because Qui-Gon looks like a giant troll who makes funny faces.

I know, isn't it horrible? I can't imagine why Qui-Gon is SO HARD to draw. But, then again, Obi-Wan's dots are apparently hard to draw because NO ONE EVER INCLUDES THEM.
