Neither soundtrack nor fic, but uh, I've been listening to this terrible plebey cinematic/trip-pop album obsessively for the past few days, and I'm convinced that "As if Nothing" by Craig Armstrong is, like, totally OMG Prequel Jedi:

l/p: pirate/seas

Anakin - Ruthless Gravity (the tech! the obsessive return to a single theme! the developing menace!"

Qui-Gon Jinn - Miracle (the human-yet-not voice of the Living Force! The constant tension between being a good Jedi and finding one's own path! Loneliness!)

* Dooku - Amber (the shared central theme with Qui-Gon's Miracle, but articulated in different tones and eventually developing into totally separate lines! grandeur going into ruin!)

Obi-Wan Kenobi - Hymn II (grief, mourning! a sincere heart moving to duty!)

Really, the whole album is rather internal life of Star Wars-esque and stuff and yeah. *plebz*
