Thanks, but I didn't think of that myself! My interpretation of the Houses and the Sorting is based on one of Red Hen's essays -I think it was the one called "On Hufflepuff (& Ravenclaw)". Check out her site some time; some of her theories are utter crack, and I don't agree with her on many things, especially her views on the Weasleys, but the stuff on the Houses I'll buy, and the theory on the Dark Arts is nice, too. As for HH, I agree it's either R or S. If he were a contemporary of Harry's, I'd be weary of sticking him in S, but at the period this fic is set, it was run quite differently, was a friendlier place, and didn't have the whole Voldemort baggage. It all comes down to whether HH himself would find the choice attractive, and I say he would.
