Rowena's turning in her grave, man

All excellent points... reason I thought Ravenclaw -- same. The intellect and the love for books and study... and the slight uppityness when it comes to the lack of imagination he perceives Bush as having. I think he's like Luna Lovegood... Could be Ravenclaw, could be Gryffindor but the hat dressed her in blue. Same here with HH. Could be Slytherin, could be Ravenclaw, and he got the luck of the Salazar draw. Ambition and brains often go together, you know, so yeah... the only thing I thought too about Slytherin was that HH as you wrote him was a mudblood. Yeah, Riddle was and Snape was technically too. But there is not a single evil bone in HH's body, where the Sorting Hat would have seen that deep seated hatez0r in Snape and Riddle.

Then again.. yeah. There was loneliness in the young HH. Some trauma, some baggage, you know. Maybe those seeds *were* there and it took the friendship of a good strong pureblood Gryffindor to temper them down.

Ahaha we could go on forever but it's your story so you get to choose. Slytherin it is!
