Man. You should write this. Or the HH as a runaway wizard. It'd be so great, and this fandom needs all the crack it can get -- it really does. And those are such lovely ideas.
I read a little short story set in the Temeraire universe just now, and hm. The style, technically, reads a lot like Patrick O'Brian. But it's accessible and open like CSF.
