AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THAT PASSAGE THAT PASSAGE NO I HAD NOT READ IT AND AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Wow. That's an insane amount of pain, and yes, Jude Watson is so totally writing the NC-17 raunch epics under the name QuiGonsBunny or something. "Rare talkative mood." Ow. Ow, ow.
Re: the other conmment stream. I mean, it makes sense that Obi-Wan has to confront these issues. Compassion for all things, right? Total physical detachment? And there he is, just a-burnin' with rage about Anakin, probably simmering with resentment about how much his life now SUCKS, and trying to squish away the grief from seeing an entire way of life disappear. And Qui-Gon's murmuring in his ear, the one thing that's supposed to be comforting him and aiding him is, at times, nothing more than a reminder of how much Obi-Wan has fucked up.
Yeah, I know. It kind of pushes the boundaries of how vulnerable a grown-up, full-fledged Negotiator Kenobi would be, but I think that Tatooine is a situation that'd test the soul. And Obi-Wan conquers them in the end, since he is able to go ghostie.
And. By the way. I just read the fic that you've written and is in your memories section -- man oh man. I swear to God tha tI will write you a decent, proper bit of FB about each of these, but ohhhhh. Walking Towards You just breaks my heart. You have such a gift for writing about quietness.
