i cannot find the words to express my love of the uniforms, i heartily agree with you. i used to walk over to colonial williasmburg a lot just to ogle men in period dress (and the off chance that there might be a young man walking about, most of the interpreters are much older gents).
if you slow certain scenes in those last two movies down, it's just AMAZING the slashy-ness between those two. it's like the actors we're in on all our gushy-ness. (and no, i haven't watch the whole thing on quarter speed, i was looking for that infamous ass ogling).
i love that shot, it's totally a surprise proposal look. :-)
