Qui-Gon and Bush would, I think, get along rather well even without the, um, mind-whammies. I can imagine them having very calm, sober discussions about work that are nevertheless crazy-enjoyable for both of them, and ahahah. :> They could totally bond over having crazy baby Padawan/captains. :D
