And maybe part of the problem with this is the order in which these books were written. After fruit baskets, lemonade, deck showers, below deck math tutorials, drunken singing loving in the hammock moments in Lt. Hornblower, I'm getting sort of stumped by this. So maybe this is sort of reading cracked out because CSF wrote Lt. HH after he wrote this.
