Lovely story. Your delight in insulting Anakin through Obi-Wan showed, though. ;) Alas, that was an interesting route to look at him (since I generally consider him quite clever, mostly because of Vader's cunning, but REALLY BAD AT LOGIC AND ANALYSIS), and I liked how you explained his intelligence and actions. The detail you put in there suggests that despite your dislike of Anakin, you do find him at least a little interesting.
Alas, you break my little OTP heart with you whole Obi-Wan doesn't love Anakin bits, but I survived. *scoops them into little baggie to be glued back together later* I still think Obi-Wan did love Anakin and then afterwards WAS DELUDING HIMSELF INTO BELIEVING HE DIDN'T. :D :D :D However, for the duration of this story, you made me believe it because Obi-Wan believed it, and that's quite something. And I loved how Obi-Wan could feel Anakin when no one else could.
Quibble on the word "psychokinesis". In fic, it's jarring in the context of SW, which always describes their powers through the Force without using to what we call "psychokinesis", "telepathy," "empathy", etc. Even though that's what it is, they have more ambiguous terms for it, so it always throws me out of fic (though not meta). This is just me being a nitpicky ass, though. A lot of word usages in fic that aren't strictly canon tend to throw me. I was also a little sad you forgot widdle baby Luke at the end. :(
Now, I'm gonna agree with usomitai AND VOTE FOR A HAPPY ENDING ON THE NEXT FIC. EVEN IF IT'S AU. KTHX, I WANT TO KEEP MY HEART IN ONE PIECE ONCE IN A WHILE ON THIS JOURNAL. ;)
Seriously, though, write whatever comes to you when you're ditching work to pretend you hate Anakin. Even if you do keep making me sad because Obi-Wan's life is so miserable. XD
