I love how quiet and gentle this story is, though I'm not sure if I'd call it 'happy'. Contemplative, maybe.
and it was, in fact, a long time and ways from Naboo -- three decades, Corsucant, Malastare, another water planet where they believed in genetic modification, Mustfar -- until Obi-Wan finally learned about transformation through joy.

Though I think it was only two decades from this mission to Mustafar (13 years from TPM to RotS)... if you add Tatooine to the list, then it works, because it probably took Obi-Wan a long time to get the hang of blue-ghostiness.
