So, no, I'm really not allowed to complain about Iron Man fic being scarce these days or not being up to the caliber that It Once Was When We Walked Uphill Both Ways. Because Jesus, that piece is nothing short of goddamn spectacular on all fronts, including front that I am sure are there, but I can't rationally process through yet because the fic is so good and painful that I need some recovery time before I go read it again.

It's the ways, zero through tne, that Tony Stark bit it. It weaves past, future, canon, and AU seamlessly, and the economy of [livejournal.com profile] atomicskull's writing is jut spectacular. And the number of balls that she keeps in the air without it looking even the least bit hard or strained? It makes me green-and-olive-and-chartreuse with even.

The one person who does not try to kill him is Jarvis. This is probably because Jarvis is not a human.
