I can SO see the aftermath to this wrongness in my head. Particularly as Obadiah just presumably rolled Pepper's Audi over the cliff into the Pacific... and then he walks back to borrow one of Tony's cars... and finds Tony down in his workshop...
"Tony. Why didn't you tell me you had a spare? We could have avoided all this... unpleasantness." A dark chuckle, and Obadiah looms into his field of vision. "Here. Let me help you with that."
Obadiah plucks the original arc reactor from Tony's numbed fingers and puts it carefully back up on the worktable. He pulls a handkerchief out with one hand. "Now then... where were we?"
The cloth is still warm from Obadiah's pocket as it goes across Tony's nose and mouth.
