Also. You may not have watched the movie as obsessively as I do, but when Tony at the press conference says, " -- or if he was every inch the man we all remember from the newsreels," the camera cuts to Rhodey, who kind of goes. "Heh." Which. Makes me think that no, he doesn't really buy into the Howard Stark mythology. Which makes me want fic.
