The 5 Things Meme.
You know the drill.
Do me a favor and ask for five things. My fandoms are: Star Wars, Hornblower, RPF for Paul McGann and/or other Hornblower actors, Supernatural, West Wing, Venture Brothers, Boondock Saints and really, anything that you might desire to see done in a halfassed way. If anybody wants it, I'll even write Battlestar Galactica, Nip/Tuck, and Harry Potter.
Be greedy and ask for lots. I'm in a rut these days, and writing these short little things will help me pare down my blather tendencies. :D

Five ways Bush was never kind to Hammond.
1. He never took particular efforts to make sure that Hammond enjoyed himself. They met a few times before the Hotspur was ready for action, and Hammond enjoyed each time or he wouldn't have made arrangements for the next, but even on the occaision when Bush put his mouth on Hammond, it went on only as long as Bush enjoyed it.
Hammond spilled into the sheets.
2. They had an actual relationship: now that they are both serving aboard the Hotspur, both Hammond and Bush like to tell themselves that they only met for sex. Bush
3. The time that a message came for Bush from the Hotspur during one of their meetings. Bush wrapped a sheet around himself and went downstairs; he read the note, wrote a reply, haggled with the innkeeper some more about a price for the use of the ink and pen, then came back upstairs, where Hammond was on his back and in the bed. In a sense, this is a continuation of the first way in which Bush was never kind to Hammond.
4. Bush denies that he was ever unkind to Hammond.
5. On their second-to-last afternoon, Hammond asked Bush what it was like to be a midshipman, and Bush paused for a moment, then continued moving his hand down Hammond's stomach. "Like this," he said and began to work his hand at Hammond while kissing the skin at his neck and shoulder.
