One of the things I really noticed in Duty when I was vidding it, and it holds in Loyalty too, is just how much time Bush spends looking at HH. Pretty much ALL the time. It just seems to be always there -- frame by frame.

And yeah. randomalia says the same thing, too, though I'm usually squealing at the mere sight of McGann in his trim little Navy uniform, and yeah. She also pointed out that even beyond that, Bush seem fixated on Hornblower's mouth.

Well, have you taken a good look at Hornblower's (Ioan's) mouth? I don't blame him for staring one bit. Sometimes *I* stare at it, and that's just still photos; I'd be fixated in person.

<3 Glad you like the icons, and yeah. There isn't nearly enough fandom discussion of either Maria or that period in HH's life, I don't think.

And ahaha. Yeah. Gruffudd has a mouth made for sin even more than McGann does. I can't even think about them making out because as soon as I do, all neural function shuts do...

oh my god, that cap is too much. waaaaay to much. as much as i dislike how the screen writers completely ripped apart "hotspur" and made up new plot lines, i really liked how they played up bush's affection for hornblower. whether it was mcgann or the writers, it was awesome. as was the increasing bitchiness of hornblower.
