I confess to disliking Torchwood. there were moments of good things but I couldn't get into it in general. But! I am delighted that you are liking it, and liking Who in general, enough to generate fic. (and of course, Nine is the best. it took me a solid year with Tennant before I finally succumbed to his charms.)

I liked the bit about his parents in particular, btw. but then, family often hits me hardest.
