well, crack is crack, so 'traumatised' was an overstatement on my side *giggles evilly*.

seriously now, i don't know. i'm averse to HP as an utmost bubblegum of literature *ducks any potential rotten tomatoes*. so i'm a poor judge here, really. but one thing that strikes me as not quite fitting in the analogy is that HH never was the wonderchild. nobody believed much that he'd aspire to any definite height, and nobody believed he'd save the day/win the war/whatever, at least not with the pathos that has been surrounding HP. and the military atmosphere is different. HH in Star Trek = an absolute yes, because of the overlapping mentality. HH in HP? JKR's rape, hehe >:)
