Far too late! But then, I like snotty, cranky bookfans. You made me think, at any rate. I've got Horatio apologising in the current WIP and it's making me ponder that. I think I can make him apologise awkwardly and kind of ineffectually if he thinks that's the right thing to do, but I'm not sure that an apology necessarily means he'll sort his shit out long-term.
