There are some good ones there -- ones that are more plot than sex. Unfortunately, there are 101 kinds of garbage, too.

I've found looking for specific writers -- ones who write over 100kb stories -- works well. Most people who will write that much will have a plot that is at least readable, if not quite what you expected.

Occasionally you find a real gem, like helenish's Lost in Translation.
