Wow, is it as bad as I thought from the skimming? :S Ick. I can read the same sort of lint-oriented drivel for Anakin and Obi-Wan, but man. I need time to recover.
Ahahaha, I suck at Q/O, but now I'm tempted to write something about lint, beards and Q/O, just because. XDDDD And oo! I'll add it to my ginormous reading list. Yes, I'm a girl in for the epic, epic narratives, and epic descriptions. >.> I'm a King and Dumas fan. *hides*
I'm all kinds of bitchy about A/O, trust me. So few fics do what I want people to do to them. :S Is that aselfish qualifier? It is, isn't it? Oh, well. But the thing is, even if I'm not terribly impressed, I can read mediocre A/O and still like it okay, even if I want to tear it apart six ways from Sunday. Until I forget about it, because so many fics are forgettable because they lack detail and strong characterization and the abilty to write narrative/prose that grabs you with strong statements/observations/dialogue. But I am willing to kinda go with the flow on A/O fics a bit more. But there's something about Q/O, where I can't. There's only specific ways my brain can find it believable, and if it doesn't deliver, well. I'm gone. I can't even finish.
