I don't actually know whether Bush (or even McGann) speaks with a Liverpudlian accent or something that's TOTALLY NOT THAT and indicates origin in some totally othe rpart of the country.)

Liverpudlian accent is really distinctive. Ever heard any of the Beatles speaking? That's what it sounds like. It rises and ends on a lower note with a weird little flourish on the final word in the sentence. Sort of.
