- When Qui-Gon was thirty, he was substantially similar to the way that he was at fifty-five. Anyone who tells you different didn't know him that well as a thirty year old.
- Obi-Wan did not have a particularly high midichlorian count. As Temple Younglings went, he was in the middle of the pack. Whatever extraordinary things he achieved as a Jedi were due entirely to his other qualities. [insert something follwoing about loyalty, a Jedi youngling tests?]
- The last time that Qui-Gon had defied the council, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon had ended up doing diplomatic tour duty for the better part of a year.
