I'm a pedantic English major, who will go back and edit typos in her own personal LJ posts when she notices them, so I figure since *I* would want to know if it were my post, I'll tell other people in case they care similarly. And yeah, it's not "concrit" exactly, but I got the sense from the meta I saw on my flist that some people were freaking out about anyone saying *anything* negative about a fic, so I figured I'd hedge a little.

I just recently finally got around to reading "The Kids Aren't Alright," which has pages and pages of comments, and I was more impressed with this fic than I was with that one, so I think partly I was reacting out of that disconnect.
