I like.

Obi-Wan is much more of a conformist than Qui-Gon, and I love how he ranks things, and how it doesn't help him in the end. And how he has a cool bleak peace in spite of things.

"It is one of the native swamp mosquitoes that you expressed curiosity in examining, Master. Or rather -- it was. And then you used the Force on it."

I can just imagine the 'oops' look on Qui-Gon's face.

Obi-Wan's interactions with his family work really well -- he would be detacted and appear very strange to them. And they would still try to make something of their Jedi child, but not know where to start.
